Administrative Assistant (Part-Time):
Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the engineering team and site operations at VIAVI Solutions Inc., ensuring efficient day-to-day functioning and contributing to a productive work environment.
General work hours will be Monday - Friday from ~10a - 2p.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain office files, records, and databases, both physical and digital.
  • Process purchase orders, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Coordinate office supplies and equipment, managing inventory and reordering as needed.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, directing them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Plan and execute site-specific events, meetings, and team-building activities.
  • Support general office administration, including mail distribution, visitor reception, and facility coordination.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure seamless operational support across the organization.
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within a technology or engineering environment.
