Assistant Engineer
Job Summary

This role involves assisting in the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of our vessels, which are integral to the energy supply chain. The Assistant Engineer will work under the guidance of senior engineering staff, gaining hands-on experience in maritime engineering and contributing to the operational efficiency and safety of our vessels.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the routine maintenance and repair of vessel machinery, including engines, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Support senior engineers in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues on board.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance programs to enhance vessel reliability and operational readiness.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with the vessel crew to ensure smooth and efficient operations during voyages and port activities.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and assist in the implementation of safety protocols as required.
  • Provide technical support for projects related to vessel upgrades, retrofits, and new installations.
