Job description

ElderSpan Management has a unique opportunity for a dynamic, detail-oriented, organized and servant-minded person to join our team in the Madison business office as an Administrative Assistant!

Shift: Other, See Hours
Hours:Generally 8am-4pm Monday-Friday
Salary Range:$20/hr + Based on Experience

Administrative Assistant responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Answer phones and direct calls as appropriate.
  • Respond to emails from all customers (i.e. staff, facilities, vendors, etc.)
  • Process outgoing and incoming mail.
  • Order and distribute supplies.
  • Collect, enter and distribute data (i.e. WCCEAL, postage usage, lease renewal reports, discharge surveys, etc.)
  • File, manage file storage and retention.
  • Assist with new resident files and correspondence.
  • Keep the office area and staff kitchen clean and neat.
  • Support office staff as directed.

What qualities are we looking for in an Administrative Assistant?

  • 2 years working in a clerical role, required.
  • Intermediate computer skills, required.
  • 2 years working with seniors, preferred.
  • Adaptability, flexibility and team-oriented mindset, required.
  • Attention to detail and keen organization skills, required.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English, required.
