Job Title

Accounting Supervisor

Requirements
  • Experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Senior Financial Accountant that could supervise two accountants.
  • This is a manufacture so ideal candidate would come out of supervision but would consider others such as banking, healthcare etc.
Duties
  • Assists in the timely and accurate production of financial statements and is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable function and general financial accounting.
  • Budgeting

Coordinate month-end activities between departments to ensure proper cut-off procedures

Preparation of financial statements

Financial analysis

Account reconciliations

Assist in tax-related activities

Participate in inventory counts

Capital project accounting

Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit by outside auditors

Prioritize responsibilities

Supervision

Will supervise two personnel.

Will report to the divisional Controller which is local.
