Job description


As the world's largest non-theatrical distributor of movies, Swank partners with top studios like Disney, Universal, Warner Bros., and Paramount to bring Hollywood entertainment to audiences beyond traditional theaters. Founded in 1937 and headquartered in St. Louis, the company delivers licensed film content to colleges, K-12 schools, hospitals, cruise lines, libraries, and many other unique venues worldwide.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth. This role manages key marketing initiatives across channels, including events, print and digital collateral, social media, website content, and email campaigns. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with company goals. Strong communication, project management, and editing skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Manage end-to-end project workflows, timelines, deliverables, and budgets across multiple marketing initiatives
  • Serve as the central liaison between teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment on goals, and smooth project execution
  • Develop project strategies, ensure creative briefs are complete, and maintain regular project status updates for internal teams
  • Facilitate project meetings, evaluate unplanned requests for prioritization, and recommend process improvements

General & Creative Marketing

  • Partner with writers, designers, and market leaders to develop and update marketing materials, campaigns, and long-form content
  • Lead creative concepting, oversee reviews and approvals, and coordinate production details (printing, mailing, collateral)
  • Support monthly customer marketing needs and manage ad hoc creative requests from Sales
  • Assist in planning annual marketing goals, strategies, and tactics

Digital Marketing

  • Manage website content updates, monitor search performance, and track KPIs for web and social channels
  • Develop and execute social media and email strategies, including content development, scheduling, tracking, and reporting
  • Monitor trends, benchmark competitors, and ensure alignment between social media efforts and broader digital marketing activities
  • Build dashboards and reporting structures for performance measurement

Tradeshow & Event Management

  • Coordinate all aspects of exhibit and tradeshow participation, including logistics, creative materials, vendor relations, staffing, and on-site support
  • Build relationships with event partners and ensure booth design aligns with strategic goals
  • Lead pre- and post-show planning/training and evaluate success through metrics, surveys, ROI, and recommendations for future events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations
  • Project management experience in marketing, advertising or a related field
