Job description

MB2 Dental, a first-of-its-kind Dental Partnership Organization (DPO) founded in 2007 and based in Carrollton, TX, is actively hiring a Director of Operations!

The Director of Operations’ primary responsibility is to provide strategic oversight and mentorship of Operations while being directly responsible for the operational and financial success of multiple dental practices located in assigned areas. The Regional Director of Operations serves operating Dentist owners by holding direct reports accountable for day-to-day practice and meeting immediate needs while positioning the practice for growth. The Regional Director of Operations is skilled and experienced in creating annual budgets, strategic planning, project management, talent calibration, growth and development plans, financial statement analysis, verbal and written communication, and modeling professional, ethical, and highest-standards behavior.

This is a remote position that requires overnight travel up to 50% of the time. Must reside in one of the following states to be considered: AZ, CO, NV, OR, UT, WA.

Responsibilities:
  • Model outstanding service to clients, including superior written, verbal, and other communication skills. Identify team member strengths and areas for improvement in leadership and management skills. Train, coach, and mentor team members to optimal service excellence.
  • Interview, hire, and retain top-tier talent in a partnership with human resources to ensure staffing needs are met, turnover is controlled and decreasing year over year, and team members grow throughout the organization.
  • On-board all team members to seamlessly integrate into the dynamic business environment while continuing to meet the business needs.
  • Train operations team members to perform duties in a timely and accurate manner while auditing work to confirm quality and provide additional training as needed.
  • Partner with operating owners and executive leadership to make operational decisions to benefit the dental Understand, analyze, and action plan key performance metrics to successfully lead and grow the multi-unit business within an assigned territory.
  • Review operating performance results and take immediate steps to implement corrective action as needed, while creating and executing long-term strategic plans.
  • Partner with dedicated corporate departments and executive team members to design sustainable and scalable programs.
  • Organize all projects, initiatives, and programs via project charters; share updates at regular and timely meetings while tailoring the message to specific audiences.
  • Assess practice needs and strategically plan to make improvements.
  • Hold team members accountable for annual training requirements, performance reviews, and other company requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8+ years of upper-level management experience; healthcare field preferred.
  • Dental office management experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with great organizational skills.
  • Skilled in delegation and remote management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organization are required.
  • Specialty knowledge, especially in Pediatric Dentistry, preferred.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
