ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING - ADON/RN - Generations at Applewood, Matteson, IL

Generations at Applewood, Matteson, IL, has an Opening for an Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON. This is a Full Time Role with a Salary Starting at $110-115k, depending upon qualifications and experience. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a few years of Skilled Nursing Facility or LTACH management/supervisory experience, not just hospital.


Hours are 9a-5p weekdays and must be willing to be in On-Call every other weekend.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON (Clinical Services Supervisor):

The Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON collaborates with the Director of Nursing - DON (Director of Clinical Services)

Ensures care plans are implemented and delivered in a timely and efficient manner

Manages the clinical team, develops programs and provides education to staff

Plans and evaluates nursing systems, rotations and methods

Requirements

Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Illinois
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Must have long-term care experience & knowledge of SNF regulations
  • Must have leadership and critical thinking skills
  • ICU or ventilator experience a plus
  • Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
