Salary range: $123,656 - $145,600 depending on years of experience
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Full-time Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at Maryland Correctional Institution, Hagerstown, Maryland.
The ADON (Medical) provides clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff. This person works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with the medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team in the correctional environment to improve healthcare of incarcerated offenders.
  • Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland; BSN preferred
  • Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
  • Experience working in a correctional or behavioral health environment preferred
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
