Position Overview:

As Assistant Deli Manager, you will work closely with the Deli Manager to lead deli associates, ensure high food quality, and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards. You'll play a key role in customer satisfaction by delivering fresh, delicious food with friendly service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supervising deli staff and ensuring efficient daily operations
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold deli foods, including sandwiches, salads, and rotisserie items
  • Monitor product rotation, inventory levels, and stock ordering
  • Ensure all deli areas meet company food safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards
  • Train and coach deli associates on food prep, equipment use, and customer service
  • Assist in merchandising deli displays and executing promotions
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly
  • Fill in for the Deli Manager during absences or peak times


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Previous experience in food service, deli, or kitchen environment preferred
