The Assistant Concession Manager supports the Head Concessions Manager in the preparation, operation, and oversight of concession services during school activities. This role assists with inventory management, food preparation, volunteer coordination, and ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient concessions environment.
Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for Concessions Inventory as far as documenting what needs to be ordered depending on the activities listed on the Activity Calendar in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for Communicating with Concessions Manager 1 regarding inventory and ordering.
  • Stock Concessions with Drinks, Candy, Chips, Nacho Cheese, Condiments and Cutlery a day prior to a scheduled activity.
  • Taco Meat will also need to be prepped for most activities the day of the activity (at least 3 hours before the activity start time).
  • Review SignUp.com website to view Volunteer Status. Print sign up reports and place in the concessions prior to the activity start time.
  • Practice and Model Food Safety expectations by wearing gloves when prepping food and provide gloves to Volunteers working in the Concessions during an Activity when preparing food.
  • Make sure food temperature is at the appropriate/safe temperature before serving
  • Assist Volunteers and Concessions Manager when necessary.

Previous experience is preferred, but not necessary.
