Job description

Summary:
Fan Experience Supervisor will ensure that the Fan Experience staff have the appropriate knowledge and skills to always provide a safe and enjoyable environment for fans and staff. Supervising small teams of Fan Experience attendants, perform general administrative duties, and serve as the liaison between the Fan Experience staff and Fan Experience Administrative Department.
Required Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of related experience and/or training
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English. Spanish is a plus
• Proficient conflict resolution skills
• Proficient problem-solving skills
• Availability to work ALL Timbers/Thorns home matches in addition to other scheduled stadium events
• An outgoing and friendly engaging personality
• Skilled at fostering a cooperative team atmosphere
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
• The ability to work independently and be flexible in all positions
• Must meet company-grooming and appearance standards
• Must pass a background check
• Weekend availability is essential!
Work Environment:
• Comfortable in heavy crowd traffic and high noise levels
• Willing to work in all types of weather, including rain, wind, sun exposure, and extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 8hrs)
• Regularly walk up and down cement steps

Responsibilities:
• Coach and train Fan Experience staff to consistently perform their responsibilities
• Lead pre-match briefing meetings for their designated teams
• Serve as liaison between Fan Experience, Administrative, and Security staff
• Attend all supervisor meetings and briefings
• Lead by example, implementing five-star service with all fan-facing and staff interactions
• Help ensure contraband items do not enter the building
• Distribute hand-outs before, during or after the event as needed
• Monitoring designated area ensuring fan & staff conduct follows stadium policies.
• Perform crowd control functions during events as needed.
• Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team.
• Coordinating wheelchair escorts for special needs fans.
• Monitor parking lot and bike parking areas.
• Perform administrative tasks
• Produce end-of-event report
• Ensure accurate Guest Attendant Timekeeping
• Staff break rotations
• Distribute & collect staff radios
• Assist other supervisors when requested
• Perform all Fan Experience staff required tasks in addition to any requests from Fan Experience and/or Events Administrative staff
• Perform other duties as assigned.
