Job description

Our Building Engineer will provide direct assistance to lead engineer along with other assistant building maintenance engineers in repair and maintenance of rooftop units, heat pumps, fire & jockey pumps, fire panel, on-site generators, electrical closets, and entire building envelope across our Corporate Campus. And must provide assistance to the entire United Services department, along with interior buildouts. Schedule will be 9am-6pm.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Maintain and monitoring of the building automation system
  • Provide preventative maintenance on the HVAC systems
  • Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment is properly installed and maintained
  • Inventory of critical building maintenance supplies
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • General repairs and maintenance
  • Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job, including but not limited to bending, lifting, reaching, and pulling of heavy mechanical equipment

Perform all duties in a safe manner, following all safety procedures
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Must Have Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Boiler operations license
  • HVAC refrigerant license
  • Centrifugal Chiller experience
  • Fire panel experience
  • Physical plant experience
  • Make independent and good judgement decisions within proper policy and procedures
  • Must be detailed oriented and have satisfactory literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities along with basic computer skills
  • Sometimes be able to work alone responsibly and without supervision
  • Meet all legal requirements to be able to work in the United States

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with team members, vendors and the public, to understand and follow standard operating procedures, to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance
