We are hiring a Billing Assistant to join our team in our Rockville, MD office.

Responsibilities
  • Review proposals and contracts to ensure monthly billing process is timely and accurate
  • Prepare monthly billing reports for project managers, Process, Post, Print and mail Invoices to clients.
  • Review monthly revenue and unbilled revenue to ensure compliance with GAAP and FAR regulations.
  • Updating Project set up in Deltek Vision and Billing files as needed
  • Assist Billing Manager and Controller during annual financial audit tasks related to billing
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in the Accounting or Office Administration. 
  • Intermediate Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Excellent Organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to interact with managers and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment 
  • Prior experience with Deltek Vision a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education in Accounting or bookkeeping field a plus.  Other combination of education and experience in the Accounting/Office Administration field.
