Location: Fairfax County, VA

Position Overview
Bluebird Staffing is seeking a Unanet A/E Billing Specialist to join a collaborative multidisciplinary design organization. This position will support the Billing Manager and play an important role in managing day-to-day billing activities in a fast-paced professional services environment.
The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with Unanet A/E billing, including project setup and maintenance, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and process A/E billing activities using Unanet.
  • Perform project setup, maintenance, and updates within Unanet.
  • Prepare, review, and process client invoices accurately and on schedule.
  • Assist the Billing Manager with daily billing operations and related accounting activities.
  • Review billing information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain accurate project and billing records.
  • Coordinate with internal project teams to obtain information needed for billing.
  • Help monitor billing deadlines and ensure timely completion of invoices.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for billing reports, tracking, reconciliation, and analysis.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting established deadlines.
  • Work independently while also contributing as a member of a collaborative team.
Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Unanet A/E billing.
