Positional Overview
The Imagine Group is recruiting for an Infrastructure Analyst III on behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Buffalo, NY. This role will support the enterprise scheduling and automation environment, with a strong focus on Broadcom Automic administration, infrastructure support, operational stability, and enterprise production support activities.
The team supports a large-scale enterprise environment consisting of approximately 800 servers and 200 application teams. This is a highly collaborative role within a small but critical infrastructure team responsible for enterprise automation standards, troubleshooting, deployments, upgrades, and ongoing operational support.
Role & Responsibility:
Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success
  • Support the enterprise automation and scheduling platform using Broadcom Automic for day-to-day production operations
  • Configure, monitor, review, and troubleshoot enterprise job scheduling workflows and automation processes
  • Perform deployments, patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities within the scheduling environment
  • Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and operational stability initiatives across enterprise systems
  • Participate in ongoing CoLo/data center migration efforts into a new enterprise data center environment
  • Work closely with infrastructure, application, database, and networking teams to support enterprise scheduling integrations
  • Support Linux and Windows server environments related to automation and scheduling infrastructure
  • Assist with automation standards, process improvements, SOP creation, and operational documentation
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and integration issues involving APIs, Azure services, databases, firewall rules, networking, and load balancing
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize operational risk
  • Participate in rotating on-call support every 3 weeks for deployments and production support incidents
  • Identify opportunities for operational automation and process optimization

Qualifications That Will Help You Thrive
Enterprise Job Automation / Scheduling
  • Strong experience supporting enterprise scheduling or workload automation platforms
  • Broadcom Automic experience highly preferred
  • Experience with other enterprise schedulers such as BMC Control-M, IBM Workload Scheduler/Tivoli, or similar tools will also be considered
  • Experience with job setup, workflow monitoring, scheduling reviews, deployments, and troubleshooting production issues
Operating System & Infrastructure Support
  • Strong Linux and Windows systems administration/infrastructure background
  • Experience supporting enterprise server environments and operational production systems
  • Knowledge of patching, upgrades, server maintenance, and operational health monitoring
Database & Integration Support
  • Experience supporting Oracle and SQL database environments
  • Familiarity with APIs, Azure integrations, networking concepts, firewall rules, and load balancing
  • Ability to troubleshoot application-to-infrastructure connectivity and automation issues
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting enterprise automation in large-scale environments
  • Azure/cloud infrastructure experience
  • Data center or CoLo migration experience
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills within fast-paced enterprise operations teams
  • Experience working in production support or operational infrastructure environments rather than application development
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively across teams
Additional Information
  • Rotating on-call support required approximately every 3 weeks
  • Buffalo-area candidates are preferred due to long-term conversion potential, though remote candidates may still be considered
