Job description

Trade Shop Sales Representative

Uncapped Recurring Commission | 1099 Contractor | Remote | Set Your Own Hours

Spartan X Corp — Automic Trades
Remote within the United States

Build a portfolio of trade-shop customers and earn recurring commission for as long as those customers remain subscribed.

Automic Trades provides AI-powered back-office support for independent trade businesses, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, landscaping, marine, and similar service companies.

Our platform helps shop owners manage administrative work such as invoicing, bookkeeping, payments, customer calls, scheduling, online reviews, and social media. Rather than forcing owners to learn another complicated system, Automic Trades works alongside the software and services they already use.

Subscription plans range from $499 to $999 per month. We are looking for independent sales professionals who can reach trade-business owners, close new accounts, guide customers through onboarding, and maintain the relationship after the sale.

The Opportunity

This is a commission-only independent contractor position with no assigned territory and no commission cap.

You will earn recurring commission on each eligible customer you personally refer and support. As your active customer portfolio grows, your monthly recurring commission can grow with it.

This is not a one-time referral bonus. You are building and managing your own book of business.

What You Will Do

  • Identify and contact owners of independent trade businesses.
  • Generate leads through your professional network, cold outreach, local supply houses, trade associations, referrals, and community relationships.
  • Conduct straightforward business conversations focused on the owner’s administrative challenges.
  • Demonstrate how Automic Trades can reduce office workload and help the owner focus on operating the business.
  • Close customers through your assigned referral link.
  • Conduct a guided onboarding session by video conference.
  • Walk customers through connecting their accounts and activating their first Automic Trades specialist.
  • Serve as the customer’s primary relationship contact after the sale.
  • Help customers understand the platform and coordinate with Automic Trades support when technical assistance is needed.
  • Maintain customer relationships to support adoption, satisfaction, and retention.

During onboarding, the customer remains in control of their own computer and accounts. You will guide the customer through the process but will not take control of the customer’s systems or access business data unless the customer expressly authorizes it.

Compensation

You will earn 10% of eligible subscription revenue actually collected from customers you personally refer, for as long as those customers remain active and eligible under the commission agreement.

Customer subscriptionMonthly commission$499 per month$49.90$799 per month$79.90$999 per month$99.90Each additional paid seat$5.00

Commission is:

  • Uncapped
  • Paid monthly
  • Based on payments successfully collected
  • Subject to a 30-day hold period
  • Reversed for refunds, chargebacks, or other payment reversals
  • Voided when a customer cancels during the initial subscription cycle

There is no minimum payout threshold. Payments are issued through Stripe.

Income Potential

Your earnings will depend on the number of customers you acquire, the subscription plans they select, and how long they remain active.

For illustration:

  • Approximately 100 to 150 active customers may generate around $10,000 per month in recurring commission, depending on plan mix and paid seats.
  • Approximately 200 active customers may generate around $15,000 to $20,000 per month, depending on plan mix, retention, and paid seats.

These examples are illustrations only and are not guarantees of income. Results will vary based on sales performance, customer retention, market conditions, and individual effort.

This Is Not a Multilevel Marketing Program

There is no downline, recruiting commission, or multilevel compensation structure.

You earn commission only on eligible customers you personally refer and support.

Who Is Likely to Succeed

This opportunity is best suited for someone who:

  • Has a successful background in sales, business development, account management, or trade-industry services.
  • Understands how independent trade shops operate.
  • Can communicate credibly with owners of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, landscaping, marine, or similar businesses.
  • Is comfortable prospecting and handling rejection.
  • Can explain technology in practical, nontechnical terms.
  • Is patient enough to guide customers through onboarding and account setup.
  • Treats customer retention as seriously as the initial sale.
  • Can work independently without daily supervision.
  • Is motivated by performance-based, recurring compensation.

Experience working in or selling to the skilled trades is strongly preferred.

Contractor Requirements

To participate, you must:

  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Reside in an eligible state.
  • Provide a valid government-issued identification document for identity verification.
  • Complete a Form W-9.
  • Establish a Stripe account for commission payments.
  • Complete Automic Trades onboarding training.
  • Pass a short product knowledge assessment before receiving an active referral link.
  • Provide your own phone, computer, reliable internet connection, and workspace.
  • Operate as an independent contractor and manage your own schedule, prospecting activity, and business expenses.

Identity verification is an antifraud measure and is not represented as a criminal background check.

Geographic Eligibility

We are currently accepting independent contractors in eligible U.S. states.

At this time, we are not accepting contractors located in:

  • California
  • Massachusetts
  • New Jersey

The independent contractor agreement is governed by Texas law, subject to applicable state and federal law.

What Automic Trades Provides

Approved representatives receive:

  • A personal referral link
  • An Automic Trades email address
  • A dashboard for tracking customers and commissions
  • Product and sales training
  • Onboarding guides and customer setup materials
  • Marketing and sales-support resources
  • Access to product support for complex customer issues

You focus on developing relationships, closing customers, and supporting your book of business. Our product and technical teams handle the underlying platform and advanced support.
