Job description

SUMMARY

Our service offerings include creative and design, program development and project management, software, and web development, and full-service production technology.

Audio Aisle Technicians are responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments, including loading/off-loading trucks, pallets and shelving items, and maintaining accurate inventory records. They must follow incoming and outgoing delivery protocols, safely assist team members with shipments, and may drive company vehicles to and from show sites.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain an organized, clean, safe department and warehouse environment
  • Prepare for shows by organizing gear, reviewing, and finalizing pull sheets
  • Oversee audio equipment quality control processes and gear check-in/check-out
  • Complete audio kits and keep gear organized
  • Assist freelance technicians in preps and locating gear as needed
  • Organize and clean the aisle
  • Assist with inventory and report any inventory discrepancies to the assets manager
  • Help barcode gear and update the inventory program (e.g. FLEX)
  • Inspect all incoming shipments and follow receiving protocol
  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to move gear as needed
  • Adhere to warehouse safety protocols and participate in safety meetings/inspections
  • Demonstrate professionalism and collaborate effectively in a team setting
  • Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and directives
  • Help load and unload trucks as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years experience in Live Audio
    • Comprehensive knowledge of audio signal flow principles
    • Experience with Dante Networking
    • Experience with deploying line array systems
    • Experience with digital intercom systems
    • Experience with JBL, L’Acoustics, and Yamaha Products
  • Familiarity with general inventory and inventory tracking system (e.g. Flex)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security and safety requirements
  • Must possess valid driver’s license with clean DMV record
  • High school or GED
  • Must be age 18 and up

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Safely lift, move and transport equipment, materials and tools weighing 50 lbs. unassisted or more to complete assigned projects
  • Stand for extended periods of time, as well as bend, stoop, crawl, stretch, climb, and/or lift repeatedly
  • Work in various climates and conditions including warehouse and outdoor elements (e.g. noise, dust, weather)
  • Work performed in a combination of warehouse, outdoor, venue and office environments
  • Operate carts, dollies, pallet jacks and other gear to move items around
  • Go up and down stairs, when applicable
  • Work at a height of up to 30 feet or more and on mezzanine level, when applicable
