Job description

Overview
 

The People Operations Assistant Analyst will be a part of the PepsiCo People Experience & Operations Employee Relations Operations Team. The role will be responsible for supporting E2E Speak Up Investigations, Employee Investigations, and/or Appeals Investigations. The role will evolve over time to support People Business Partner operational & transactional work as part of PepsiCo’s Employee Relations needs. 

The ideal candidate can learn new processes quickly, think strategically, have superior verbal and written communication skills, have an investigative/curious mind, and maintain high levels of confidentiality and customer service. 


Responsibilities
  • Organize and disseminate cases in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Interact with employees (both frontline and leaders) via phone, e-mail, and Teams in response to employee relations matters, conduct interviews, speak to witnesses, review evidence and analyze action items related to potential policy violations while making recommendations to remedy any such violations.
  • Gather, summarize, and report on Speak Up related cases both verbally and through formal written communications.
  • Follow documented protocols and processes to deliver world class customer service and first call resolution.
  • Ability to perform on-call duties for weekends/evenings as needed.
  • Ability to understand and follow information security protocols and handle sensitive data.
  • Able to multi-task and consistently works against the right priorities.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer service and operational excellence so that transactions are resolved efficiently and in full compliance with relevant legal, company and process requirements.
  • Acting as an escalation point of contact for employees and managers for all administrative queries and provision of administration support.
  • Maintaining HR Systems to ensure 100% data integrity and confidentiality of all employee records.
  • Strong proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, CoPilot, etc.)
  • Ability to construct an objective narrative through an investigation to appropriately move investigations along with input from key stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization.
  • Work under hard deadlines to deliver excellence to function and business.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned. 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,600 - $94,450.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Master’s Degree in HR or related business field preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years work experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Investigations
  • Previous exposure to employee relations matters including investigations, discipline, and taking statements/transcribing information
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to craft clear, concise and compelling narratives, especially in investigative or analytical contexts where accuracy, tone and structure are critical.
  • Proven experience in investigative writing or analytical reporting, with the ability to synthesize complex information into well-structured, impactful written content tailored to diverse audiences
  • Comfort/Experience manipulating data in Excel
  • Comfort/Experience with CoPilot/AI Tools
  • Experience in practicing HR in a manufacturing, distribution, or sales environment
  • Experience in a union environment preferred
  • Understanding of and experience with PepsiCo policies and ethics
