Job Summary

Partners closely with leadership to execute and enhance AEP's investor relations strategy, effectively communicating the company's financial performance and long-term value proposition to both internal and external stakeholders. Supports the development of investor-facing content, presentations, and communications; performs financial analysis and market research; and supports relationship-building with investors, analysts, brokers, and rating agencies. Contributes to the continuous improvement of investor relations processes, communications, and stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Do:

  • Support investor communications and content development, including earnings presentations, investor decks, fact sheets, executive briefing materials, website updates, and other investor-facing communications. Assist in ensuring materials are accurate, consistent, and aligned with company messaging.

  • Monitor industry, regulatory, market, and company developments relevant to investor relations activities. Support the development of summaries and reports of key trends, news, analyst commentary, and market developments for the Investor Relations team and senior leadership.

  • Support earnings-related activities, including preparation of earnings materials, earnings call technology coordination, analyst consensus tracking, Q&A support and analysis of investor and analyst feedback following earnings releases and other key disclosures.

  • Support relationships with investors, analysts, rating agencies, and other financial community stakeholders. Coordinate responses to investor inquiries with internal and external partners.

  • Support planning and execution of investor events, including the annual meeting, conferences, roadshows, and earnings calls. Coordinate content, logistics, messaging, and event follow-up.

  • Partner with Investor Relations team members to complete financial analysis, valuation benchmarking, ownership analysis, investor targeting strategies, consensus tracking, and peer comparisons.

  • Collaborate with internal business partners, including Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Corporate Communications, Legal, Regulatory, and Strategy teams, to gather information and support investor relations initiatives and deliverables.

What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business.

Experience: 4 years' experience in Finance or Accounting.

Additional Expectations:

  • MBA or CPA preferred.

  • Must have excellent communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of the business and competition.

  • Strong client focus and initiative.
