THE GIST:
Our client, a fast-growing AI startup developing next-generation machine learning technologies, is looking to hire multiple Operations Associates and build out their ops team. As an Operations Associate, you will work cross-functionally with leadership and key stakeholders to drive important initiatives across the business. Depending on your experience, interests, and organizational needs, you may focus on one or more areas including Marketing, Go-to-Market (GTM), Business Operations, Finance, People Operations, Legal Operations, or Strategic Projects. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoy solving problems, building processes, coordinating across teams, and is looking to contribute to a wide range of business initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

THE NITTY GRITTY:
Depending on your background and interests, you may support one or more of the following areas:
Marketing & Brand Operations
- Support brand awareness initiatives, events, and community engagement activities.
- Coordinate with external partners, including PR and marketing agencies.
- Help maintain website content, social channels, and launch-related activities.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and positioning across external communications.
Go-to-Market & Partnerships
- Support customer, design partner, and strategic partner relationships.
- Assist with partnership and ecosystem initiatives.
- Help manage lead follow-up, meeting coordination, and pipeline tracking.
- Contribute to commercial and business development activities.
Strategic Projects
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and strategic materials for leadership.
- Support fundraising, investor reporting, and special projects.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives as business needs evolve.
Finance & Business Operations
- Assist with budgeting, operational reporting, and expense management.
- Support fundraising activities and non-dilutive funding initiatives.
- Coordinate with banking, accounting, and tax partners.
- Help improve financial and operational processes.
People & Corporate Operations
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee operations.
- Assist with payroll, benefits, and HR administration.
- Coordinate contract management and routine legal processes.
- Maintain internal policies, documentation, and operational records.
Technical & Vendor Operations
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Support operational needs across infrastructure, platforms, and partnerships.
- Coordinate issue resolution, billing, and account management activities.
- Assist with operational support for product and R&D initiatives.
THE ESSENTIALS:
- 1+ year(s) of experience working in operations, consulting, project coordination, or similar roles
- Experience working within a growing tech startup highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree required
- Strong entrepreneurial drive & strategic mindset
- Resourcefulness and ability to thrive ambiguous environments
- Strong interest in technology, startups, and building companies from early stage
- Ownership mindset with strong follow-through
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and follow-through

LOCATION: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
COMPENSATION: $110k to 140k base salary + equity + benefits (exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and expertise)
