Job Summary:
Venteur is dedicated to transforming healthcare in America by empowering individuals to take control of their health benefits. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the delivery of their products and applications, collaborating with various teams to enhance user experiences and improve system efficiency.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical, operational, and business requirements for our platform.
โ€ข Design and build end-to-end experiences for the Venteur platform, focusing on usability, scalability, and performance.
โ€ข Architect efficient and scalable systems to meet customer demand and enhance user experiences.
โ€ข Work closely with designers, engineers, operations, and customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
โ€ข Continuously analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of our systems.
โ€ข Lead and mentor new hires or junior engineers.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5+ years of experience building impactful products at scale.
โ€ข Both front-end and back-end experience coupled with anything it takes to solve problems and delight users both internally and externally.
โ€ข Commitment to high-quality code that is tested thoroughly, supported by clear documentation, and has appropriate production observability.
โ€ข High degree of empathy for both internal and external customers.
โ€ข Excellent communication and problem-solving skills that allow you to work effectively on a remote team.
โ€ข Strong computer science fundamentals and knowledge of data structures, OOP, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
Preferred:
โ€ข You have a strong fintech background, having navigated financial regulatory requirements while delivering technological solutions.
โ€ข You possess solid ML fundamentals and demonstrable experience with generative AI models.
โ€ข You have a proven track record of building and maintaining technical integrations or APIs, particularly around healthcare or financial transactions.
