12+ months Contract

 

About the Role:

Our client, a leading Advanced Wound Care organization, is seeking a Clinical Administrator Medical Assistant to support daily clinic operations and ensure high standards of patient care and administrative excellence. This position requires an organized and proactive individual who can oversee staff, manage operations, and ensure compliance with clinical and administrative procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations:

Assist the General Manager in planning and coordinating daily clinical and business operations.

Maintain smooth communication between departments and ensure operational efficiency.

Staff Management & Training:

Monitor staff schedules and shift coverage.

Support recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes.

Train and supervise Medical Assistants to ensure performance standards are met.

Conduct staff orientation and ensure all employees are trained in required systems and processes.

Billing & Coding Support:

Assist with billing accuracy, CPT/ICD-10 code training, and compliance.

Help streamline and audit billing and coding workflows for accuracy.

Inventory & Equipment Management:

Oversee medical inventory, equipment, and supply ordering.

Track inventory to prevent shortages and maintain proper documentation.

Compliance & Reporting:

Monitor staff certifications and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and HIPAA regulations.

Support clinic management with performance reports and audit documentation.

Team Collaboration & Scheduling:

Coordinate team meetings to review operations and address issues.

Work closely with clinical leadership to ensure a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare administration or clinical operations.
  • Experience supervising staff in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of CPT / ICD-10 billing codes and medical billing procedures.
  • Experience with systems such as Net Health, Wound Expert, or Wound Reference preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Teams and other medical software.
