Our mission with each community is to support their success by providing strong leadership, corporate support, and the resources and tools to realize their goals. Friendly Village promotes and encourages the success of each of its employees and values the individual experience of its guests and their families.

Friendly Village Nursing and Rehab, a proud member of the Eden Senior Care network, is seeking an Assistant Nursing Home Administrator (ANHA) to support operations at our skilled nursing facility. This role offers direct exposure to facility leadership, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operations, making it an excellent opportunity for an emerging leader preparing for Nursing Home Administrator licensure.

Why Join Friendly Village Nursing and Rehab?

  • Stable, Experienced Leadership: Work alongside a tenured leadership team that provides consistency, mentorship, and operational support.
  • Clear Growth Path: This role is designed to develop future administrators through hands-on experience and increasing responsibility.
  • Strong Team Environment: Join a collaborative leadership group that values accountability, communication, and professional development.
  • Operational Consistency: We maintain a fully in-house clinical team—no agency staffing—supporting continuity of care and team stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support oversight of daily facility operations, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance
  • Lead core Human Resources functions, including staffing, onboarding, employee relations, and policy implementation
  • Assist with census development and community outreach initiatives
  • Oversee the grievance process, including investigation, documentation, and required reporting
  • Support department leaders in operational initiatives and survey preparedness
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS requirements
  • Serve as Administrator on Duty as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or related field
  • Completion of an AIT program or progress toward licensure preferred
  • Willingness to obtain Nursing Home Administrator licensure within a defined timeframe
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards and facility operations
  • Experience or strong interest in Human Resources
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ideal Candidate

  • Self-directed and accountable
  • Motivated to advance into a licensed Nursing Home Administrator role within the organization
  • Committed to quality care and resident satisfaction
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
  • Early-career professional, including graduates of accredited Healthcare Administration (or related) programs, with hands-on long-term care experience
