Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Admin Runner to join our team. In this role, you will provide assistance to lawyers, ensuring they are able to carry out their duties. You will communicate with clients, compile case materials, and conduct research. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented. A Law Firm Legal Admin/Runner provides courier, filing, and general office support for attorneys and legal staff. This position is responsible for delivering and filing legal documents, running firm errands, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring confidential materials are handled professionally and timely.
 
  • Deliver and pick up legal documents from courthouses, government offices, clients, banks, and other law firms.
  • File pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with courts or agencies as directed.
  • Ensure documents are delivered accurately, confidentially, and on time.
  • Run office errands, including mailing documents, purchasing supplies, and making bank deposits.
  • Assist attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants with administrative tasks.
  • Copy, scan, organize, and file legal documents and client materials.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client and firm information.
  • Track deliveries, obtain receipts, and report completed tasks to appropriate staff.
  • Help maintain office organization, including supply areas, files, and conference rooms.
  • Answer phones, greet clients, or assist with front desk duties when needed.
  • Use a personal or company vehicle to complete local deliveries and errands.
  • Follow all firm policies, court procedures, and deadlines.
