TERRITORY SALES amp; ACCOUNT MANAGER
FIELD-BASED POSITION | NEW ENGLAND TERRITORY | TRAVEL UP TO 60%
ABOUT YOU:
Territory Sales and Account Manager contributes to the growth of the College division by driving the acquisition of new customers, deepening distribution penetration within current customers, and providing exemplary customer service and account management within the defined territory. As a Sales amp; Account Manager, you are responsibility is to deliver on the divisional business plan within their territory. You will sell consultative, utilizing recognition and affiliation programs to assist the customer in addressing key business issues such as graduation rate, student retention, alumni participation, and brand execution.
YOU WILL:
  • New customer acquisition and opportunity development. Translate the business plan into account-specific tactics. Develop relationships with prospects amp; track all activity in Salesforce.com CRM
  • Current customer expansion and account management. Translate the business plan into account-specific tactics. Develop broad-based relationships and a thorough understanding of the customer's business to position Jostens as a strategic resource and track all activity in Salesforce.com CRM.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the customer-facing team (Sales Representative, Regional Sales Manager, Sales Associates, and Regional Service Team Manager) to develop and execute the territory consumer promotional marketing plan and event performance plan through planning and executing profitable events
  • Territory planning, performance assessment, and administrative responsibilities to ensure Jostens executes effectively for the customer
    Work with newly hired sales reps in the territory as a trainer/mentor.
  • Typical/expected % travel: Up to 60%
YOU HAVE:
  • 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • 5-10 years of sales and/or marketing experience
  • Experience with business-to-business customer acquisition and account management
  • Ability to lead and direct the efforts of a customer-facing team
  • Working level proficiency in internet research and MS Office suite including Word, Excel, amp; PowerPoint.
  • Business and financial acumen and skill - profit and loss, planning/forecasting, budgeting and reporting
  • Advanced consultative sales skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to ask questions, utilize listening skills, and communicate effectively in verbal and written forms. Must be able to communicate one-to-one or one-to-many in the form of presentations.

  • Thorough understanding of the college/university market, B2B selling processes designed to position Jostens as a strategic resource to our customers, and B2C marketing execution, including retail merchandising.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs., often multiple times during an event
