As a Product Manager in Asset Wealth Management Fraud Management Team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

 
Job responsibilities
  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on vision and strategic pillars required to deliver new products 
  • Coordinate and sequence product delivery with cross impacted teams (product, technology and operations) and execute critical path deliverables during product life cycle (discovery, initiation, development and testing) 
  • Manage success metrics, and understand and communicate prioritization of features, with a mind toward user and business benefits and tradeoffs 
  • Coordinate project deliverables required for release readiness (NFRs, implementation plan, release management, sign offs) and act as an escalation point for all project resources to support delivery 
  • Act as a strategic partner to product managers and lean into ownership of certain product features, communicate on behalf of the project and have confidence representing the voice of the product 
  • Collaborate with product and project managers across the organization to identify best practices and reinforce those techniques through establishment of processes and ceremonies 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Able to analyze opportunities, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively (both verbal and written) to all levels of management 
  • Ability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under intense pressure 
  • Participation in or management of a new business or product launch in a large organization or startup 
  • Experience working in agile/scrum teams (including JIRA proficiency) 
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Completion of a 4 year college degree 
  • Financial Services experience strongly preferred; Private Banking, Fraud or related product experience preferred 
  • Demonstrate solid organizational and project management skills, including strong follow through skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and workstreams 
  • Help solve pressing issues through thoughtful, strategic, and pragmatic execution 
  • Experience defining data requirements and working with structured/unstructured data for analytical/modeling purposes 
  • Experience authoring and managing Jira work items, including writing clear business requirements and testable acceptance criteria, and maintaining backlog hygiene through refinement, prioritization, and workflow/status management.
