Job description

This internship position represents an exciting opportunity to work for one of the largest information technology centers in the Wasatch Front. This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel. 

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and self-directed individual to fill a one-year, paid internship within IT Asset Management. The Asset Management team supports the global tracking, auditing, and lifecycle management of both hardware and software assets for the Church. This role will assist in maintaining accurate asset records, ensuring compliance, and improving asset management processes across the organization.

This internship is designed to provide meaningful educational and professional experience. It offers the opportunity to apply principles and practices learned in an academic setting to real-world scenarios. Under general supervision, the intern will perform assignments provided by the Asset Management team and gain exposure to enterprise-level asset management operations.

The work schedule provides flexibility to accommodate the selected intern's needs within standard business hours, Monday through Friday. The intern will report directly to the hiring manager and collaborate with multiple team members across a variety of projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

The position is assigned to the Asset Management team located at the Riverton Office Building in Riverton, Utah. The role is anticipated to follow a hybrid work schedule, with potential in-office presence on Mondays.

Additional Information

  • Employment is contingent upon meeting all Church employment policies and guidelines

  • Work Schedule: This is a 40 hour per week internship that is expected to last approximately 12 months. Internship will start July of 2026. Normal office hours are between 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. 

  • This will work a hybrid schedule, some days in office, some days from home.Must be available to come in office at least once a week.

  • Pay is $24.00/hr

Responsibilities may vary depending on assigned work. Deliverables will be reviewed by the supervisor and, at times, the team manager.
