Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
This role serves as a Treasury Analyst supporting the bank’s Asset/Liability Management (ALM) function by delivering critical financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven insights. The position is responsible for monitoring and reporting the bank’s balance sheet performance, including daily and weekly reporting and Key Risk Indicator (KRI) tracking. The analyst contributes to loan and deposit analytics, product profitability assessments, and strategic pricing initiatives presented to senior committees such as the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO).

The role partners closely with Treasury leadership—including the Asset/Liability Manager, Loan and Deposit Pricing Manager, and Liquidity and Funding Manager—to provide analytical support and ensure informed decision-making. Responsibilities also include developing peer benchmarking analyses, enhancing financial models, and building scalable, automated data processes to improve efficiency and accuracy within Treasury operations.

Additionally, the position ensures proper documentation of methodologies and assumptions in compliance with regulatory expectations for mid-sized banks. The ideal candidate brings strong financial analysis experience, proficiency in data management and modeling, and a solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/FASB). Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Daily and weekly reporting of balance sheet position including daily KRI measurement.
• Assists in creation of loan and deposit analytics including product profitability measurement for Pricing Committees, Strategic Committees, and the quarterly Asset Liability Committee meetings.
• Develops quarterly benchmarking and peer and industry bank comparisons.
• Functions as support analyst for Asset/Liability Manager, Loan and Deposit Pricing Manager, and Liquidity and Funding Manager
• Develops scalable and automated data management processes to efficiently support inputs and updates to models to support the Treasury function at the bank.
• Creates documentation of related assumptions and execution steps consistent with Mid-sized bank regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to Seacoast Bank’s Code of Conduct.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field plus 5-7 years of experience in positions performing financial analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of banking industry preferred.
• Requires intermediate knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations including an intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles to include accounting methods: cash, accrual, and GAAP.
• PC Proficiency in Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, and Smartphone devices.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and analytics
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience in managing, updating, analyzing. and presenting large quantities of data
• Fiserv IBS, MySQL, SQL, VQL, and PowerBI experience preferred, but not all are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with little supervision
