ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Manager, Closely Held Assets supports the management and oversight of closely held and other nonmarketable assets held within fiduciary structures, including trusts, estates, and foundations. This role focuses on executing day-to-day portfolio management activities while ensuring adherence to fiduciary, regulatory, and risk standards.
The Manager is responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and administering a portfolio of low- to moderate-complexity closely held assets, including minority interests in limited partnerships (LPs), limited liability companies (LLCs), and privately held corporations. This role partners with senior team members and internal stakeholders to support asset management decisions, valuations, and transactions.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.
  • Portfolio Management & Administration: Manage a portfolio of closely held business interests, supporting investment reviews, valuations, and ongoing monitoring activities.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, company performance, and industry trends to assist in assessing risk and determining asset value.
  • Corporate Actions & Transactions: Support the evaluation and execution of corporate actions, including proxy votes, reorganizations, and asset sale transactions.
  • Client & Advisor Engagement: Communicate with clients, trust officers, and professional advisors regarding asset performance and administrative updates.
  • Risk & Fiduciary Compliance: Ensure adherence to governing documents, fiduciary standards, and regulatory requirements; escalate risks or issues as appropriate.
  • Operational Execution: Coordinate documentation, tracking, and reporting related to asset activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including risk, legal, tax, and operations to support asset management and issue resolution.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to evolving business needs and priorities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in commercial credit, business analysis, trust administration, or similar field.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Qualified candidates will possess a demonstrated degree of proficiency (typically from 5 years of work or practical experience), in:
  • Financial Analysis: Ability to interpret financial statements and assist in determining the value of privately held business interests.
  • Portfolio Management: Experience supporting management of investment portfolios or financial assets.
  • Client Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with internal partners and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Total Base Pay Range 71,100.00 - 145,900.00 USD Annual
