Job description

Description= Makes own set ups and operates punch presses to produce parts. Performs daily machine maintenance.Sharpens and mount (assembly) washer dies. Verifies dimensions of parts for adherence to specifications, enter data of key characteristics into the Statistical Process Control (SPC) program.Documents on the work order the information required for traceability of the operation performed.Enter data into the tracking system by scanning the work order and enter quantity produced, and applicable notes.


Requirements= 1 year experience preferred but not required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, Ability to write simple notes. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, or diagram form. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
