Wood Assembly / Machine OperatorLocation: Benicia, CA
Position SummaryJoin a reputable millwork shop in Benicia as a Wood Assembly / Machine Operator. In this role, you will assist in the assembly, preparation, and shipping of high-end wood fixtures. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience who are looking to grow into a long-term career within a stable and growing company.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery such as chop saws and perform precision wood cutting
Assemble wood components using hand tools and measurement instruments
Perform finish preparation tasks including edgebanding and doweling
Accurately measure materials to 1/16 of an inch
Assist with packaging and shipping of finished products
Use basic computer software for printing labels and managing shipping logistics
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
QualificationsExperience in carpentry, mechanical work, or product assembly
Comfortable using hand tools and measuring devices
Ability to read measurements and work with precision
Basic computer skills (for labeling and shipping systems preferred)
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
RequirementsSteel-toed boots (required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Interest in long-term career growth
Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
