Wood Assembly / Machine Operator

Location: Benicia, CA

Position Summary

Join a reputable millwork shop in Benicia as a Wood Assembly / Machine Operator. In this role, you will assist in the assembly, preparation, and shipping of high-end wood fixtures. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience who are looking to grow into a long-term career within a stable and growing company.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery such as chop saws and perform precision wood cutting

  • Assemble wood components using hand tools and measurement instruments

  • Perform finish preparation tasks including edgebanding and doweling

  • Accurately measure materials to 1/16 of an inch

  • Assist with packaging and shipping of finished products

  • Use basic computer software for printing labels and managing shipping logistics

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment


Qualifications
  • Experience in carpentry, mechanical work, or product assembly

  • Comfortable using hand tools and measuring devices

  • Ability to read measurements and work with precision

  • Basic computer skills (for labeling and shipping systems preferred)

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
