We are an employee-owned company (ESOP), and we are seeking a motivated and experienced full time Asphalt Paving Machine Operator to join our dynamic paving and excavating team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating paving equipment to ensure the efficient and precise installation of asphalt surfaces. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality paving projects that meet safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure developments while honing your skills in construction machinery operation.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate asphalt paving machines and related heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and dump trucks to lay asphalt surfaces smoothly and accurately.
  • Coordinate with the construction team to prepare the site, including grading, rebar installation, and concrete forming as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure mechanical functionality and safety compliance.
  • Assist with the setup of construction sites by operating loaders and excavators for material movement and site preparation.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily operations, including equipment usage, materials delivered, and project progress.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment on busy construction sites.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as asphalt pavers, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks.
