(Littleton, CO and Lone Tree, CO locations)
Job Summary
The Studio General Manager with Premier Martial Arts will lead the day-to-day operations for corporate owned Premier Martial Arts studios. Areas of key focus include overseeing daily operations, labor management, building and cultivating a collaborative and high performing team culture, and overall P amp;L responsibility including student membership sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Studio Operational Leadership – Oversee daily operations for assigned Premier Martial Arts Studios within determined geographic area. Maximize operational effectiveness with class and instructor scheduling, supply chain management, hours of operation, and event management. Execute key operational processes identified by PMA district/corporate leadership team to achieve or exceed results.
  • Student Success Metrics – Lead class schedule planning, class management, student development, graduation planning. Ensure that all Instructors are meeting and exceeding PMA standards.
  • Talent Management – Hire and train all studio level team members. Select, develop, and motivate key studio leaders. Utilize succession planning to prepare for growth by developing the skills of direct reports. Lead through on-going communication, timely feedback, positive reinforcement, written evaluations, and performance feedback. Address performance concerns.
  • Planning and People Development - Create a culture that provides exceptional service at all levels. Create an environment where PMA is the brand and employer of choice. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitor activity within the region and advise the District Manager of opportunities. Assist the District Manager in analyzing intelligence data and provide recommendations for future action plans.
  • Partner with your District Manager, the membership sales teams, and Unleashed Brands to determine all avenues for driving membership growth.
  • Lead the execution of initiatives and activities including marketing campaigns and community/event sponsorships to ensure all studio level Program Directors are meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Continuously improve overall brand, brand presence, and student experience by establishing connections and obtaining feedback with student members and their families.
  • Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
