Armour Medics is seeking dependable, professional, and highly responsible Emergency Medical Technicians to provide on-site medical coverage at events throughout Los Angeles County and surrounding areas.

This is a part-time, per-diem position for EMTs who want flexible event assignments, additional income, valuable field experience, and an opportunity to grow with a professional event medical company. Shifts are scheduled according to event needs, and hours are not guaranteed.

ABOUT ARMOUR MEDICS

Armour Medics provides professional on-site emergency medical coverage for concerts, festivals, sporting events, corporate gatherings, private events, film productions, community events, and other large-scale functions.

Our EMTs represent more than themselves—they represent the Armour Medics name. We are building a dependable team of medical professionals who remain calm under pressure, communicate professionally, arrive prepared, and treat every guest with respect.

WHY WORK WITH ARMOUR MEDICS?

• Flexible event-based scheduling
• Opportunity to earn additional income
• Work at exciting events throughout Southern California
• Gain experience in event medicine and public safety
• Join a growing and respected event medical company
• Opportunities for increased responsibility and future advancement
• Wellness and health-plan benefits through Ignite Health may be available to qualified employees, subject to eligibility requirements and applicable plan terms

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide professional on-site EMT and first-aid coverage
• Assess patients and provide care within the EMT scope of practice
• Monitor guests, participants, staff, and event conditions for medical concerns
• Activate 911 and coordinate with local EMS when a higher level of care is required
• Complete accurate patient-care reports and incident documentation
• Maintain assigned medical equipment and supplies
• Communicate clearly with event organizers, security personnel, supervisors, and other EMTs
• Maintain a calm, professional, and service-oriented presence
• Arrive on time, properly uniformed, and fully prepared for every accepted assignment
• Remain at the assigned post until properly relieved or dismissed by a supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Current California EMT certification
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
• Valid government-issued identification
• Reliable transportation to event locations
• Reliable phone and consistent communication
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and assist patients safely when necessary
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended event shifts
• Strong judgment, professionalism, teamwork, and communication skills
• Must successfully complete all required onboarding and employment documentation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous event-medical, ambulance, fire, emergency department, or public-safety experience
• Experience working at concerts, festivals, athletic events, entertainment venues, or film productions
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
• Availability for last-minute and weekend assignments

COMPENSATION

$20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, assignment, responsibilities, and shift requirements.

SCHEDULING

This is an as-needed, event-based position. Assignments may take place throughout Los Angeles County and surrounding Southern California areas. Employees will be contacted when shifts become available. There is no guaranteed minimum number of hours.

Once an EMT accepts an assignment, Armour Medics expects complete reliability. Late cancellations, failure to communicate, tardiness, or failure to report for an accepted shift may affect eligibility for future assignments.

OUR SELECTION PROCESS

Armour Medics maintains a thorough and selective interview process because reliability, clinical judgment, professionalism, and communication are essential in event medicine.

Qualified applicants may be required to complete:

• Initial application review
• Structured interview
• Credential and certification verification
• Scenario-based EMT assessment
• Professionalism and communication evaluation
• Reference or background verification, when applicable
• Final onboarding and orientation

We are not looking for applicants who only want to sign up for occasional shifts without accountability. We are looking for dependable EMTs who take pride in their profession, honor their commitments, and are ready to represent Armour Medics at a high standard.

If you are responsible, clinically prepared, professional, and interested in earning additional income while covering exciting events, we encourage you to apply.
