Job TitleSales, Business Development Manager - Image Guided Therapy Procedural Solutions (Mid-West)Job Description

The Business Development Manager is connected to the Office-Based Labs (OBL) and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC) market to help drive our sales and grow the business. The Business Development Manager will assist with new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include supporting the sales team on new business models, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities.

  • Willingness and excitement for building a new business from modest beginnings into one with far reaching implications
  • A self-starter, creative and independent thinker who can develop, position, and sell solution-oriented business models that are completely new to Philips and, in some cases, the industry
  • A candidate with a "fighter's spirit" who is willing to challenge the status quo and drive toward the right solution, not just the easy one
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand the customer's business goals and tailor a solution accordingly
  • Understanding of various financial mechanisms and how they can be utilized by customers to achieve different objectives
  • Aptitude for driving collaboration between internal and external teams

You're the right fit if

  • You've acquired 5+ years of experience including a successful track record in customer relationship and account management within the industry segment
  • You have a BA or BS in Business or similar field, or equivalent education/experience
  • Proven selling and customer relationship management skills with the ability to navigate a complex sales process to include stakeholders / partners.
  • Strong clinical and technical knowledge, with the confidence to knowledgably engage key stakeholders such as physicians, clinical staff, nurses, department managers and supply chain to present value proposition
  • Professional presence that influences desired results with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly adapt and respond to job, environmental, and industry changes
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position.
  • Ability to travel 70% in the states of: MN, MI, WI, ND, SD, MT, WY, NE, KS, MO, IL - Upper Midwest

Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $250,500 to $296,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.
