An established, design-led architecture practice is seeking an experiencedย Project Architectย to join its team in the Greater Philadelphia Area. This hybrid opportunity will focus on complexย sports, entertainment, hospitality, arena, and student-facility projects, and would suit someone who enjoys leading projects from concept through construction while balancing design quality, technical delivery, consultant coordination, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural documentation from concept through construction
  • Oversee construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittals, and field coordination
  • Translate design intent into coordinated, buildable documentation
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain project documentation in line with quality standards and project requirements
  • Develop and refine design solutions that respond to client goals, schedule, budget, and technical constraints
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to define, track, and deliver key milestones
  • Act as a primary liaison between the client and architectural team
  • Support clear team communication through meetings, updates, and project documentation
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and day-to-day direction to junior team members


Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Architecture or a related field, or foreign equivalent
  • 8โ€“10 years of professional architectural experience
  • Registered Architect or actively progressing towards licensure
  • Experience across sports, entertainment, hospitality, arena, or student-facility projects
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, materials, specifications, construction methods, and construction administration
  • Experience with consultant coordination, construction documents, and field observation
  • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment
