GBA is welcoming a Landscape Architecture student to join us for a summer internship based out of the Lenexa, KS headquarters office.
With a focus on meaningful design, interns will have the opportunity to work on a variety of public and private projects ranging from open space and parks to net-zero community planning to public engagement, visioning, and design charettes. Interns will be integrated into a collaborative environment alongside architects, engineers, and surveyors where interns will be immersed in hands-on design visiting a variety of in-progress construction projects ranging from streetscapes, and parks to structures and development.
This internship can offer unique business and operational insights in a new and rapidly growing group alongside experienced and driven staff. We encourage driven and creative individuals to apply today!
What You'll Bring:
  • Actively enrolled in a Landscape Architecture or Urban Design accredited program.
  • Experience with Civil3D, Rhino, and Enscape is preferred.
  • Finished at least two years, with three years preferred, of school.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates fundamental design skills with detailed attention to urban planning, detailing, CAD drafting, red line corrections, with direction from more experienced staff.
