What kind of hands-on experience can I expect as an architecture student during my studies?

As an architecture student, you'll often participate in project-based studio courses where you'll conceptualize, design, and present architectural solutions both individually and as part of a team. You can expect to work on model building, digital drafting, and site analysis, frequently engaging in critiques and reviews with professors and peers. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Architecture Student position, and why are they important?

At BETTERMORE MANAGEMENT CONSULTING LLC, we focus on residential renovation and real estate investment projects in the Seattle area.

Founded by entrepreneurs with both U.S. and Chinese backgrounds, our company values long-term thinking, continuous learning, resilience, and execution. We believe real estate investment is not only a business, but also a long-term platform for creating value and building meaningful careers.

As an early-stage growing company, we are looking for people who share similar values — individuals who are self-driven, adaptable under pressure, eager to learn, and genuinely interested in (or passionate about) real estate investment and development.

For the right candidate, this role offers significant long-term growth potential and the opportunity to grow alongside the company.

  • SketchUp

  • Basic understanding of:

  • Zoning codes

  • Residential construction

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn

Who Will Thrive Here

  • Self-motivated

  • Responsible and execution-oriented

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

  • Willing to learn continuously

  • Interested in real estate investment and entrepreneurship
