Job description

Our St. Louis studio is currently seeking an Architecture intern to join our team this fall. This internship offers an exciting opportunity for students pursuing a degree in architecture to gain practical, hands-on experience. You'll work on real-world projects, learn from and collaborate with talented professionals, and develop skills in a dynamic studio environment.
Candidates must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week with a majority of time working on-site in our St. Louis office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Application must include resume and portfolio (or portfolio link).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepares and modifies architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. as directed by others utilizing CAD/BIM.
  • Develops solutions to technical and design problems following established standards.
  • Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.
  • Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
  • Builds models or prepares project boards for client/project team review.
  • Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
  • Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Currently enrolled in an architecture program.
  • Previous internship with an architectural or interior design firm preferred.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
  • Possess basic hand and CAD/BIM drafting skills
  • Proficiency in Revit preferred..
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
