We maintain a rotating cohort of architectural interns with openings throughout the year at our Seattle location. These paid, six-month internships are open to architecture students and recent graduates from around the world. The program is rooted in mentorship and offers immersive exposure to the full spectrum of architectural practice.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Design & Documentation Support
    • Collaborate with project teams across all phases of design and documentation.
    • Contribute to schematic design, model making, construction documents, and presentation materials.
  • Learning & Engagement
    • Participate in weekly design critiques and internal speaker series.
    • Attend construction site visits to observe and learn from real-world applications.
    • Engage in firm-wide educational and professional development opportunities.
  • Presentation & Communication
    • Prepare and deliver a presentation to the wider office displaying creative, professional and academic work, prior to and during their internship.
    • Communicate design ideas effectively in collaboration with team members.
  • Additional duties and projects:
    • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Required:
    • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a professional architecture program (or international equivalent).ย 
    • Portfolio demonstrating design ability and technical skills.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (international candidates must secure appropriate work authorization).
  • Nice to Have:
    • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, and Rhino.
    • Prior internship or studio experience in an architecture firm.
    • Interest in Olson Kundigโ€™s design philosophy and project types.
