Parkway C & A , a top 400 ENR Design Build firm with 40 years in the industry has an immediate need for an experienced Architects and Architectural Interns to join our team. If you are interested in joining a rapidly growing firm with an excellent reputation in its industry, then this may be the opportunity for you. Our projects are predominantly negotiated Ground Up Commercial jobs and often designed in-house by our architectural team. We have a strong client base from coast to coast. With such a diverse portfolio of projects in different sectors, our architects have the ability to work on the projects that best fit their skills, interest and developmental goals.

The primary function of an Architect at Parkway Construction & Associates is to provide our clients with exceptional architectural services that blend the expertise of the construction knowledge with design. The projects will be formatted in a "Design-Build" scenario using BIM software (Revit), so the client can better understand the project during the design phases. Our Architects bring the architecture and construction worlds together to achieve a unified team approach to building projects.
Typical Duties Include the ability to:
* Understand business plans and review bench marks for project results
* Design presentation drawings using 3D graphics (Revit)
* Complete cost analysis with construction team
* Produce construction documents that will be the most accurate in the industry
* Coordinate with consultants, and team members
* Review shop drawings, project submittals, etc., as required
* Achieve code review and compliance with local authorities
* Collaborate with the Project Architect Develop relationships that will foster a trust for future projects.
Requirements
* Degree in Architecture with 5 years experience in an architectural firm
* Communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills required for effective production
* Proficient with CADD, BIM, and Office software programs with ability to produce drawings, reports and presentations as required. Experience working specifically with Revit is a must
* Ability to work well under pressure; juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly * Self motivated and quality driven
