Company Overview
Arcesium is a global financial technology firm that solves complex data-driven challenges faced by some of the world's most sophisticated financial institutions. We constantly innovate our platform and capabilities to meet tomorrow's challenges, anticipate the risks our clients encounter, and design advanced solutions to help our clients achieve transformational business outcomes.
Financial technology is a high-growth industry as change and innovation continue to disrupt the status-quo and prompt major transformation. Arcesium is at a particularly interesting time in our own growth as we look to leverage our successfully established market position and expand operations in pursuit of strategic new business opportunities. We value intellectual curiosity, proactive ownership, and collaboration with colleagues, and we empower you to meaningfully contribute from day one and accelerate your professional development.
Position Summary

In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams to ensure that the right technical resources are coordinated at each stage of the sales process.
Responsibilities
  • Developing a deep understanding and working knowledge of Arcesium's business and functional domain, including the underlying technology, in order to derive the value proposition, and deliver product demonstrations to our clients, prospective customers, and trade show attendees
  • Providing support to questions about our product, services, and other technical aspects of the platform, and responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
  • Working with the Sales, Technology, Financial Operations, and Implementation teams to gather and interpret requirements in order to create proposals and preliminary project plans, which include high level solution and integration designs for prospective clients
  • Demonstrating an understanding of what clients will need in on-going service, and managing expectations to support pricing and the value-proposition
  • Thinking critically to suggest improvements to the sales process which may reduce costs and result in better conversions
  • Researching the industry to anticipate changes that could impact current and future sales, and develop an understanding of current leading edge capabilities across all competitors
  • Engaging with and updating all research, communication and market intelligence in Salesforce
  • Traveling up to 20% to prospective clients as needed, however, primarily based out of the New York office

Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant pre-sales consulting/sales engineering/technical sales, business development, consulting, or client support experience, with a background in financial services or financial technology strongly preferred
  • They must be organized, methodical, and motivated, and must also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • An ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator and influencer, with excellent presentation and relationship building skills
  • They must be expert users of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • A bachelor's degree and a strong record of academic and professional achievement are required, and a passion for technology is highly desirable

The expected annual base salary for this position is $140,000.00 - $175,000.00. Our compensation package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, and 401k contribution matching.
