Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Afterschool Arabic Teacher to join our afterschool program. The ideal candidate will create a positive, engaging, and interactive learning environment while introducing students to the Arabic language and culture.
Part Time Working Hours: Wednesday & Thursdays at 3:15 to 5:00 p.m.
Exact hours and days will depend on class enrollment.
Schedule
  • Must be available to commit for the full 2026-2027 school year
  • Students are grouped according to their age/grade level band
  • Sessions are one-hour long

Responsibilities
  • Teach beginner to intermediate Arabic language skills to pre-school to elementary aged students
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities
  • Effectively manage the classroom and address students' behavior issues in a positive, professional manner
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Communicate effectively with afterschool management regarding student and program-related matters

Requirements
  • Fluency in Arabic and English
  • Previous teaching experience required
  • Experience working with students from preschool to elementary school preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

Benefits
The hourly rate for this position will be $50 per hour.
