OVERVIEW

Alera Group is looking for a Personal Lines Property & Casualty Account Manager to join our team. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

Our Massachusetts locations include: Needham, Braintree, Brockton, Brookline, Chicopee, Concord, Fairhaven, Milford, Orleans, Rehoboth, Truro, and Worcester. Our Rhode Island locations include: North Smithfield and Warwick.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Advise and service Personal Lines clients (home/auto/umbrella/flood and other PL), handling changes, renewals, and inquiries with a high-touch experience
  • Drive growth through quoting, new business support, account rounding, and cross-sell, earning base plus commissions
  • Evaluate exposures and recommend coverage changes; explain options clearly to support retention
  • Manage workflows in Applied Epic with accurate documentation and compliance
  • Partner with carriers/underwriters to obtain quotes, submit documentation, and resolve requests quickly

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years Personal Lines P&C account management experience
  • Valid Massachusetts P&C License (required)
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines coverages and underwriting requirements
  • Applied Epic strongly preferred; comfortable with rating tools and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and problem-solving; organized and deadline-driven
  • Able to step in and perform with minimal ramp-up; dependable and team-oriented

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

The annual salary range is $55,000 to $75,000, plus commission.
