Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, NJ location.
DUTIES: Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Provide expertise and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements. Resolve high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. Assess risk when business decisions are made, in alignment with company policy. Contributed to cross-functional integration by collaborating with multiple management teams to identify crucial system enhancements, supporting successful new product deployments and optimizing business processes. Resolving high-impact technical and business challenges through in-depth evaluations of complex processes, system architectures, and industry standards. Providing expert-level applications programming knowledge, ensuring strict adherence to overall architecture blueprints and developing rigorous standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Cultivating a comprehensive understanding of how architecture and infrastructure integrate to achieve business goals, delivering innovative solutions through in-depth analysis and interpretive thinking. Providing technical guidance to mid-level developers and analysts on programming standards and best practices (non-supervisory). Supporting adherence to risk policies and contributing to the application of established risk-related procedures. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation performing applications development activities. Six (6) years of experience must include: Working with Java 8, Core Java, Spring, caching frameworks and restful web services including data interchange format/definition including XML and JSON; Working with messaging frameworks including MQ and Kafka; Working with source code management tools including Git or Bitbucket; Utilizing scheduling tools to run scripts to process/load from various data sources; Working with code quality measurements using tools including Sonar and implementing design, unit, integration, and functional tests; Serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in any functional domain development area; Utilizing advance knowledge of applications programming and ensuring application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint; and Utilizing advanced knowledge of system flow and developing standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. 40 hrs./wk.
