Job description

R&K Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated and qualified Applications Programmer to join our Client Success and Delivery Department and work within the Technical Solutions Division. An ideal candidate will have a solid understanding in the support, design, development, enhancement, integration, and sustainment of enterprise applications. This role performs coding, debugging, testing, configuration, and analysis to develop or modify application programs, while ensuring solutions meet functional and technical requirements. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications of the candidate. Telecommuting options may be available for the right candidate.

Duties:

• Performs coding, debugging, testing, configuration, and analysis to develop or modify programs.
• Conducts detailed analysis of functional and technical requirements needed to create specifications.
• Utilizes programming, scripting, or database language to produce efficient code.
• Performs unit testing of applications.
• Produces application documentation, including process and data flow diagrams.
• Provides support for implementing, enhancing, integrating, and maintaining applications.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2+ years of related experience in application development and support.
• Proficiency with the following languages:
o C#
o TypeScript
o SQL
• Experience with the following technologies/frameworks:
o NET
o Microsoft SQL Server
• Strong experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to write, debug, and optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Experience producing technical documentation such as process diagrams, data flow diagrams, and implementation notes.
• Ability to take direction in the aspects of the work and execute as directed. While gaining exposure to some of the tasks within the job function.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to resolve medium to complex technical issues.
• US Citizenship
• Capable of possessing a U.S. Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Must have the ability to learn functional concepts associated with enterprise asset management, real property, condition assessments, capital planning, space use and other functional areas.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
