Job description

The Packing Specialist is responsible for preparing, shipping, coordinating transportation of shipments and maintaining all tracking records.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
·        Repair NAVSUP DLR packages and repairables
·       In charge of preparing, shipping and receiving documentation
·       Coordinates the transportation of all packages, as well as supports RFI return
·       Maintains all shipment tracking and records
·        Prepare any relevant reporting to proper chain of command
·        Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission focus across the team
·        Other duties as related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned
 
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
·        High School Degree Required
 
Licenses & Certifications:
·        Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance
·        FNAVSUP PUB 7000
·        DLR handling 
·        HAZMAT shipping, if applicable
 
Experience:
·        Five to seven (5-7) years of experience in a similar position
·        Experience and deep knowledge base in shipping/receiving, warehouse logistics, Navy supply, supply packaging or other related experience
 
Skills & Abilities:
·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·        Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments as required
·        Ability to hold yourself and others accountable on short-term and long-term goals
·        Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
·        Ability to work with various levels of personnel
 
 Other:
·        Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with additional hours, as required
