Overview

Our full cycle technical recruiter will own our engineering and non-technical roles from introduction through close, supporting candidates at every stage of the process. This is a ground floor opportunity to shape every part of our recruiting process from end to end.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Proactively identify and engage top technical talent through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and creative outreach strategies

  • Intake & Hiring Strategy: Partner closely with hiring managers and engineering leadership to define role requirements, develop scorecards, align on candidate profiles, and build tailored search strategies for each open position.

  • Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough initial screens to evaluate technical aptitude, career motivation, culture alignment, and role fit before advancing candidates through the interview process.

  • Interview Coordination & Process Management: Design and manage structured interview loops, coordinate schedules across multiple stakeholders, and ensure a seamless, timely candidate experience from start to finish.

  • Candidate Experience: Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for every candidate, providing transparent communication, timely feedback, and a thoughtful experience that reflects Amca's values and brand.

  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse - track key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pass-through rates, and source effectiveness, and use data to continuously improve hiring outcomes.

  • Talent Branding: Support Amca's branding across job postings, career page content, social media presence, and participation in hiring events.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on technical and engineering roles (specifically mechanical and electrical engineering roles).

  • Proven ability to source passive candidates, build relationships, and close quickly

  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools

  • Demonstrated skill in managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed.

  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities with a track record of landing top-choice candidates in competitive markets.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.

  • Preferred: experience recruiting within a high-growth startup
