Don's Appliances is seeking an Appliances Sales Associate role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and product expertise to help customers find the perfect appliances for their homes and all sales activities, from lead generation through to close of the sale. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals and meet client's expectations.

*We anticipate the first year income to be $80K+ - $100K+ after the 2nd year for committed sales associates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assess customer needs and provide customers assistance in locating and purchasing merchandise in showrooms, online, and processing special orders by phone or in person
  • Assess customer’s needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Demonstrating the features and benefits of various appliance models to guide customers in their purchasing decisions
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current product offerings, pricing, and promotions
  • Collaborating with the sales team to meet objectives and drive revenue growth
  • Processing orders and payments efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure the showroom is presentable and clean
  • Achieve sales goals
  • Build lasting relationships with customers to drive repeat business


Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Excellent product knowledge and problem-solving abilities
  • Customer service orientation and a desire to help customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets, database and inventory software. Proficient use of phone systems and point of sale systems.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. Saturday and Sunday hours are mandatory.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, or GED
  • College Degree preferred
  • Previous retail or customer service experience
  • Previous sales /appliance sales experience preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Required: Valid Driver's License
