Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Apparel Production Assistant to join our team with knowledge of the fashion apparel industry. In this role, you will provide support to our production team, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best via work orders. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, planning meetings, communicating with clients to get their order started from A-Z, and writing correspondence. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor. You will help with interacting with clients, receive items, create work orders and coordinate with our production department, coordinate shipping, order supplies, communicate with sales reps. Help provide feedback to our production department regarding quality, placement, and overall customer satisfaction, among other responsibilities.
Job is 9am-5pm Mon-Fri in Los Angeles (Vernon 90058)
Responsibilities 
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate person
  • Schedule appointments and maintain a calendar
  • Organize meetings and take accurate minutes 
  • Write emails, memos, and letters and distribute them appropriately to client and production team
  • Attention to details is a must
  • Maintain an organized filing system
  • Develop, update, and maintain relevant office procedures
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or administrative training is preferred
  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or has worked in the Fashion production industry
  • Spanish speaking BIG plus!
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment such as Gmail, Excel, if you have experience with Printavo
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
